Over the past 40 years, TileStone Distributors have become specialists at sourcing genuine, reclaimed stone in both commercial and residential settings. These vintage stone elements bear the marks of time and offer a variety of beauty with their time-worn edges, gently scarred surfaces, and undulated smooth appearances create stunning floors that are sure to stand the test of time.

From the moment a house gets tagged for reclamation to the moment it gets reinstalled in a new home across the world, reclaimed stone floors are a true labor of love from start to finish.

Reclaimed Dalle De Bourgogne

Reclaimed Dalle de Bourgogne

Reclaimed Dalle de Bourgogne stone is a top-quality limestone featuring warm brown, sand, and grey tones. What makes this stone stand out is the gorgeous, large, random sized French limestone flooring slabs that have a heavily textured and worn patina in warm greys, browns, and creams.

Each Dalle de Bourgogne stone is incredibly hard by nature and has to be split by hand instead of being sawed into dalles. Due to this technique, each paver maintains a 1 ¼ inch thickness but varies in size which contributes to its classic beauty that we love today.

Reclaimed Barr Gris

Reclaimed Barr Gris, or as some call it French Limestone flooring, is around 250 years old. It is one of our most popular grey stone surfaces that works well with both contemporary or traditional interiors. Barr Gris is an extremely rare limestone that was historically used as second story flooring, and as ceiling material for the room below. This unique application of stone dates back over 200 years and can only be found in the Provence region of France and can be difficult for suppliers to source.

Reclaimed Barr Gris slabs are usually 20 inches by 26 inches and are 1 ¼ inches thick.

Reclaimed terra cotta can be considered time capsules of history and artistry. These bricks are a beautiful flooring choice for a warm, rustic Mediterranean look. We salvaged these reclaimed terra cotta stones from old farmhouses, storage cellars, utility rooms, and roofs throughout France. Each stone is different in texture, color, and shape, and was handmade and wood-fired over 150 years ago. These stones have endured centuries-long foot traffic and are well-suited for any room, inside or out, that you can envision.
